"Thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ..." - 2 Corinthians 2:14

During the civil ceremony known as the Roman Triumph (triumphus), a military commander who had been successful in battle would be crowned with laurel and clothed in gold and purple. He would ride through the streets on a four-horse chariot with his sons close by his side, sharing in his victory.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we share in the victory He accomplished at the cross. He took away the sin of the world by conquering death and rising from the grave–and Jesus will come again, returning in power and victory.

Let's be honest though, sometimes as pastors, we don't feel like we are victorious. Many of us struggle to maintain a victorious spirit. Some experience trials in their families and in their churches. Several have health or financial challenges. The culture seems to be getting darker and darker. Where is this victory that God has promised us?

At the 2017 Pastors Conference we will take an honest look at our personal lives, our ministries, and our world. We will strengthen our hearts and give practical wisdom on how to live in Christ's triumph. In the end, our hope and expectation is that all who attend will be renewed and refreshed by God to walk in the victorious life.
